YOU MUST CONTACT COACH RICH FOR LATE ENTRY APPROVAL PRIOR TO SIGNING UP.

The Big Head Regatta will be held on September 23rd, 2017 launching from the North Shore Camp ground Big Lake, AK.

Entry Fee $25 per racer, you may pay your entry fee by adding yourself to the participant list.

Please complete the Big Head Racing Team Survey immediately after paying your race fee. The link will be included in your emailed payment receipt.

Remember the 4 oar rule.
"From September 21 - June 1 and anytime the air temperature falls below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, users of ARA-owned equipment are required to do at least one of the following:
- Have a coaching launch on the water.
- Row with at least four oars on the water. In singles and pairs this means two or more boats rowing in close proximity, with no more than two boat lengths between boats.
- Wear a life vest.
This is recommended but not required for users of privately owned equipment."

Tail of the Lake Regatta TOTL (October 1 )

Tail of the Lake (4k) will take place on Sunday, October 1st, 2017 on Lake Union in Downtown Seattle and is open for juniors, novice, and any masters who would like to attend. A $300 deposit is due by August 20th.
Deposit covers boat rental, regatta fees and costs of coaching support (hotel also covered for Jr. crew members).

Jr Participants should be prepared to travel with team arriving in Seattle Fri PM-Departing Seattle Sunday PM. Details on flights will be available soon.
**Independent travel arrangements can be made if traveling to/from with family/guardians.

Housing and transportation organizing volunteers as well as Jr. crew chaperones needed. To volunteer or get more information contact Elisa at president@anchoragerowing.com.

Shell Pen move out. Tonight will likely involve de-rigging and moving small boats to Kincaid. This will be a good time to clean out the shed and move items to storage at AK Rubber for the winter.

Today will involve loading the large boats and other equipment on the trailer and moving it to Kincaid for winter storage. Also, any shell pen/shed cleanup for winter. 9AM - Noon, or when finished.
